The open bar starts immediately. Some guests overindulge early, which doesn't mix well with snorkeling. The snorkel stop comes before the beach time — enjoy the bar after you're out of the water.

Adults-only vs family departures genuinely differ. The adults-only departure is louder, more party-oriented and the bar flows faster. The family-friendly departure is a mellower experience with an earlier start time. Choose intentionally.

Isla Mujeres beach time is short. Most itineraries allow 30–45 minutes at the island. It's enough for a swim and a walk around the beach area, not enough to explore the town — if you want to see Isla Mujeres properly, take the Ultramar ferry separately another day.
